Chiamami col tuo nome è una struggente storia d'amore e amicizia, sullo sfondo della riviera ligure nella calda estate del 1988. Nonostante la sua giovane età, il diciassettenne Elio (Timothée Chalamet), si dimostra un musicista colto e sensibile, più maturo e preparato dei suoi coetanei. Call me with your name is a poignant story of love and friendship, against the backdrop of the Ligurian Riviera in the hot summer of 1988. Despite his young age, seventeen-year-old Elio (Timothée Chalamet) proves to be a cultured and sensitive musician, more mature and prepared by his peers. The son of a university professor who every year hosts a foreign student engaged in the post-doctoral thesis, Elio waits in the family villa for the arrival of a new pupil of his father. The young Oliver (Armie Hammer), a handsome and charming 24-year-old American, goes up the path to spend the summer holidays on the Perlman estate. His casual manner immediately strikes the awkward teenager, who begins to appear in love. The meetings between the two young people are permeated by a unique and palpable intensity: between long walks, swims and discussions, an overwhelming and irrepressible desire is born between them.
