Adapted from a popular comic book, this story centers on mild-mannered research scientist Dr. David Bruce Banner, who, after being exposed to an overdose of gamma radiation, morphs into a ferocious, gigantic green man when he becomes agitated. As Banner looks for ways to reverse his condition, he travels from town to town helping those in need -- even as persistent reporter Jack McGee stalks him.
In the second season of the classic action series, Dr. David Banner (Bill Bixby) continues his long, lonely quest to rid himself of the angry creature that lurks within him: the Incredible Hulk (Lou Ferrigno). And always on his trail is that pesky tabloid reporter Jack McGee (Jack Colvin). The season starts with an explosive two-parter in which David weds a hypnotherapist (Mariette Hartley) after a brief courtship, only to learn her dark secret.

Season 2 episode 9: 'Stop the Presses'
David is washing dishes at Bruno's Restaurant, who's owners are being targeted by a sleazy journalist from The National Inquirer. When Banner's picture is taken, he has to break into the building where Jack McGee works to get it back.
Season 2 episode 10: 'Escape from Los Santos'
David 'Brown' and a young widow he has never met before are framed for the murder of her husband by a corrupt sheriff and his men. Handcuffed together, the two of them make their escape.
Season 2 episode 11: 'Wildfire'
As 'David Blakeman', Banner is trying to earn some money working on an oil rig. The owner's daughter takes a liking to him, but fierce competitors will do anything to sabotage their work.
Season 2 episode 12: 'A Solitary Place'
In Mexico, David 'Baily' has secluded himself from other people to keep his rage in check. But Gail Collins, another doctor on the run stumbles upon his hiding place. Now McGee and others are looking for both of them.
Season 2 episode 13: 'Like a Brother'
David 'Butler' works at a car-wash in a black neighborhood run by a drug dealer with a black panther. He tries to help two orphans, the youngest of which is a diabetic.
